The PC Support programme is designed to equip learners to enter any PC business environment in a vital supporting or training role. The strength of the qualification is the depth in which the software packages are covered: their application in business, features and functions, installations, support issues and general user problems, like, processors, circuit boards, memory devices, networks, and routers. By creating new directions in computer hardware, these learners create rapid advances in computer technology.

• Upon successful completion of the whole programme, i.e. competence achieved in the summative assessments, the successful completion of the WIL component, and provided the learners PoE is found competent, the learner will receive a Damelin Results Letter outlining the outcomes covered.
• Damelin will apply to MICT SETA on the learners behalf for the Further Education and Training Certificate: PC Support, SAQA ID 21191, and NQF level 4 with 120 credits to be awarded.
• Upon successful completion of all ICDL modules, the learner will receive an ICDL certificate.
• Upon successful completion of the optional external examinations, the learner will receive CompTIA and MCITP Certification at the learners own cost.

• Knowledge, comprehension and application of English language at NQF 3/Grade 11 or equivalent.
• Knowledge, comprehension and application of Mathematical Literacy at NQF 3/Grade 11 or equivalent.
• Admission may be subject to an interview with an academic staff member.
