This programme introduces learners to the principles of sound, perception, audio technology and systems. It is ideal for anyone concerned with audio, sound and recording who would like a good grounding in theory and industry practice. Latest digital recording technology formats and computer-based interfaces are covered. Stereo and surround sound principles are described in detail.

The programme duration is 60 hours minimum

Upon successful completion, the learner will be awarded the Damelin Short Programme Certificate in Sound Recording Practice.The Short Programme Certificate in Sound Recording Practice is offered by Damelin and Quality Assured by the Damelin Academic Board.
